The combination of the prospect of the World Cup in 2014 and the Rio Olympics in 2016 make it the perfect time to ?clean up the house? a little bit.? If you know you?re going to have company come pay a visit, you want to try to put out your good china, and keep your skeletons hidden well in the closet.? Well, a high court trial of a political corruption case, whose main defendant is an ex-aide of an ex-president,? is seen as a signal of change in Brazil.? Perhaps Brazil is on a an irreversible path to world dominance or perhaps they?re just acting.? Either way, the next several years will be interesting.
