POSITION? STAFF WRITER for Construction Leaders Today (www.constructionleaderstoday.com)

The ?Staff Writer? role is one that requires daily interaction (verbal and written) with leading business professionals in the architecture, interior design, construction and energy markets. The writer will work alongside other writing and design staff to see projects through from beginning ?idea? stages to completion of a printed product. He/She will be responsible for completing a minimum of 4 stories per week (800-1200 words each), front-of-book content procurement, interview scheduling and copy editing. Role will require use of Adobe InCopy, Acrobat Buzzword, and a web-based CRM.

NECESSARY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

-Being technically savvy is a must in order to succeed in this role
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, creative environment
-Ability to be productive in an autonomous working environment with minimal supervision to meet deadlines; show relentless persistence
-Copy editing (AP Style)
